Apollo is always happy to share great evidence supporting clinical nurse specialist practice.
Collaboration and disseminating evidence is what we are all about and so when nurses are prepared to share their work with others nothing gives us greater pleasure than to share it. Recently Debbie Warren from The Foundation of Nursing Studies (FoNS) contacted Apollo and described the work they have been supporting with nurse led teams to set up and evaluate nurse led services.

We have been given access to a range of studies which explore a range of services such as telephone review clinics ,Nurse facilitated discharge and developing a nurse led respite ward .

I hope you enjoy reading them but really hope it makes you appreciate that you too have great work to share with your colleagues. It is only by sharing and publishing our work that we increase the body of evidence to support our practice.
